It looks like you're doing a (poor) job of converting a 4:3 source to 16:9. The 'left border' of the source looks to be about twice the size as the 'right border' of the resulting 16:9 image. Try scaling the resulting image by 2/3 and see if that gets you what you want.

To assess the associations of statin use with the occurrence of new-onset and preexisting chronic kidney disease (CKD) in patients with and without diabetes. We analyzed data from the population-based EpiHealth Study from Heidelberg, Germany, and included the following 3 groups: n = 7,886 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), n = 20,843 patients with prediabetes, and n = 15,994 patients without diabetes mellitus. Statin users had a significantly lower incidence of preexisting CKD and a significantly lower risk of new-onset CKD compared with nonusers in patients with T2DM and prediabetes. In patients with diabetes, statin users had an increased risk of new-onset CKD compared with nonusers. Statin use may have a beneficial effect on the development of CKD in patients with prediabetes, but increased risk for CKD in patients with T2DM.[Spiral CT of the cervical spine in the emergency department].
